ActFax is a specifically designed application for facilitating things like network-wide transmission and receipt of fax messages, sending and forwarding fax messages by email and the like. Its key features include support to 64-bit Windows (x64), Terminal Server and Citrix, complete client/server architecture, centralized data storage on the fax server, all common fax modems such as fax class 1, 1.0, 2 and 2.0, data access from every workplace in the network, ISDN adapters and Brooktrout/Cantata and Intel/Dialogic fax boards.
ActFax also offers support to V.34 Fax (Super G3) for transfer rates of up to 33,600 bps, VoIP/FoIP with Eicon "Diva Server SoftIP" software, Venali Web Fax Service and even unlimited number of fax lines (modems) as well. The applications also features faxing and emailing from any Windows application through native printer driver, via UNIX and Linux through LPD/LPR, TFTP, FTP, and RAW-TCP-Port connections as well as import from the file system
There are many automatic options like automatic routing of received fax messages with extension numbers, station id (CSID) and line routing, printing of received fax messages and sending reports on different printers per user, automatic forwarding of fax messages by email, even to multiple email addresses and so on. The software supports all common file formats such as PDF, Tiff, GIF, Multipage and BMP for email attachments and document export. The added advantage of this application is that it runs on any Windows version from Windows 95 down to Vista and even supports terminal servers.
